Thanks to the generous in‑kind support from the City of Greater Geelong, eligible Barwon Sports Academy athletes have access to complimentary Gym Passes or Swim Passes through the Swim Sport & Leisure network.
This support gives athletes the opportunity to experience high‑quality training environments, supplement their BSA Strength & Conditioning programs, and build confidence in both gym and pool‑based settings.
Gym Passes – 10 Visits
Athletes aged 15 years or older (as at 1 January each program year) are eligible to receive a 10‑visit Swim Sport & Leisure Gym Pass.
This offer is valued at more than $120 and is available only to athletes who do not currently have an active Leisurelink membership.
The City of Greater Geelong provides this support to a set annual value. If the number of eligible athletes exceeds this allocation, BSA will cover the additional cost to ensure all eligible athletes can participate.
Swim Passes – 25 Visits
Athletes may choose to receive 25 swim visits instead of a gym pass.
This option is ideal for those who prefer water‑based training opportunities.
