Background

Originally from Melbourne, Ross relocated to the region in 2019 and has lived here ever since. Ross attended Maribyrnong Sports Academy and was a dual scholarship athlete in both AFL and Basketball throughout high school. Currently playing in the GFL, Ross has previously spent 2 years at Footscray in the VFL as a player, whilst starting senior football at 16 years of age. Ross completed a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science (Sport Practice), and also a Masters Degree in High Performance Sport. Previously working at Essendon Football Club, he has a a strong interest and background in providing a holistic approach to athlete development, particularly with youth athletes that have aspirations on becoming elite athletes.
