As the Athletics season ends for this year, we would like to mention some achievements by BSA Athletes.
Ethan had an outstanding performance at the Victorian Championships. Winning 2 Gold medals, a Silver and a Bronze with 4 Personal Best times including a 28 second improvement in his 3000m time! The conditions were very unpleasant, but his times were excellent ranking him 1st in Australia in steeple and 3rd in the 1500 and 3000m events. Many good judges rank him as one of the best performing athletes in the whole championship.
In April, Ethan followed up with another great performance at the Athletics Australia National Championships in Sydney. Ethan finished 2nd in the U16 3000m, missing the gold by a nose however, still managed to run a sub 9-minute time (improving his personal best by 6 seconds)!
